HAIR SKILLING SATURDAY

Participants gathered for a hair skilling at the Mkazipreneur Hub.

If you are someone determined to find solutions to take care of your natural hair and help it thrive, you are no stranger to the frustration that comes with lacking the knowledge and ideas on where to start with your hair journey.

This is why on 26th July, 2025, Mkazipreneur hosted an engaging and transformative hair skilling session that dealt with offering attendees helpful hair care skills.

Pauline Tibikoma, the founder of Crowned Naturals, led this insightful session and shared hair care important in creating personalized routines.

Participants were cautioned on products to avoid such as products with sulphates as they strip hair of necessary moisture, avoiding tight hairstyles as they cause traction alopecia

Other tips shared included oiling and hydration techniques like using water, butter and oil on hair, proper combing and detangling starting from the ends to the roots.

Participants were also engaged in how to produce herbal oil for personal use. Emphasis was put on quantities of certain herbs, which herbs to avoid and production methods to avoid such as placing herbs directly on heat during preparation.
