On 29th August, 2025, we hosted the Networking Friday, which brought together a number of women entrepreneurs to interact with each other and put their businesses in the spotlight.
The event aimed to discuss methods through which women entrepreneurs can be able to navigate green entrepreneurship in the everchanging Ugandan market.
Stellah Nambabubye, the co-founder of BioFlame Africa led the session as a key-note speaker.

In the midst of challenges faced by green entrepreneurs such as limited research and difficulty pushing behavioral change, Stellah emphasized the need for collaboration for entrepreneurs to navigate these challenges.
Stellah encouraged women to be open to partnerships and help in different aspects of their businesses stating, "You need friends, partnerships so that they can help you thrive in businesses. Empower people in any sector, be it graphic designers so that they can help you as partnerships are important in business.”
In the same vein, she commended the support of Mkazipreneur for partnering with her to receive seed funding from the NSSFHiInnovator program to help her grow her business with automation that she uses to manufacture BioFlame's re-known pillow shaped briquettes.
She further implored women to pursue Green Entrepreneurship due to its presence of commercial opportunities such as sustainable agricultural resources, green products such as briquettes, bags produced from recycled waste products.
We look forward to crating more spaces where women share knowledge and inspire each other to grow.
